BIG, FLASHY, FORWARD - 2004 APHA gelding
15.3 hands with a huge engine.
This boy is a trailblazer to the max. He will go up, down, or through anything you want on trail or bushwhacking. He is built like a brick, has great feet, UTD on vaccines and worming, teeth due in April. Needs consistent riding - 4 to 5 days a week. Rides well in the arena, working on a slow collected WTC, works gates, side passes, great on obstacles, but where this boy really shines is on trail or running full speed down the beach.
We have ridden on busy streets, around cows, through deep water, in the ocean and waves, gone horse camping, bulldozed our way through thick brush and he was a champ through it all. No buck, bolt, rear, bite, kick. Great on the ground but forward when being lead. Not a beginner horse. Needs a strong confident rider who won’t let him get away with stuff, but he will give 100% for the right person who puts in the time. Not spooky - has a good head when worked regularly. Rides alone or in small groups - in big groups, he is jiggy unless he's up front. Has tried sorting/penning and gets too worked up, but seems to like being around the cows - not afraid of them. Started on barrels - he is fast as all get out so a confident teen/adult looking for a fast flashy horse may be perfect.
